Company Overview

North Bend Medical Center is the largest multi-specialty group on the southern Oregon coast. We employ 60 physicians and 40 advanced practitioners. Our main clinic is located in Coos Bay and we offer four satellite clinics serving the communities of Bandon, Coquille, Gold Beach and Myrtle Point. We also feature a fully staffed Immediate Care Clinic that offers convenient access after hours.

Company History

NBMC was incorporated in 1952 and began as a small primary care clinic in the City of North Bend. The clinic was originally conveniently located across the street from Keizer Memorial Hospital. In the early 1970's the local physicians decided it was time to build a new Hospital and larger clinic to help modernize medicine on the Southern Oregon coast and purchased a large parcel of land in Coos Bay. North Bend Medical Center and Bay Area Hospital both opened their doors in 1974 with beautiful new facilities. NBMC has since undergone several renovations to stay up to date with the latest medical technologies and eventually purchased four satellite clinics during the 1990's to help reach patients living in more rural areas of Oregon.
